Great Crested Grebe

We get a few sightings here through the year but they don't stay long but this young one has been hanging around for a few weeks now.

Thay are a beautiful bird. Well done your photos look great. How did you get soo close? I find them very hard to get near.

Thanks, Devster. I have never got close to them before but this one is very confiding. I got even closer 2 days earlier.

Great shots Shorty

Funny here in the west, while I dont see them often. When I do I find they are quite approachable

Dont take life too seriously, it never ends well
