2006 Channel-billed Cuckoo Survey Results
The 2006 Channel-billed Cuckoo survey commenced in August, 2006 and the locations of records received to date are shown on the maps below. Their migration did not begin until September, with the first record coming from Wallsend (NSW) on 5th September, and the second from Winmalee (NSW) on 6th September. Regular reports from a variety of locations have been submitted since 14th September. Please continue to send in your records so that we can build up a comprehensive picture of the species'distribution, particularly in urban areas.
