300

After getting my 299th photographed bird species at Mount Glorious i took a trip down to Walkabout Creek to see if i could get a Red-backed Fairywren.

Not 5 minutes there i got them, YAY, number 300.

The Male.

Quality set of photographs of a really magnificent little bird. I remember getting my first red-backed Fairywren at Oxley common like it was yesterday.smiley

I've just counted up my list and I'm not even 1/2 way to 300 yet. 127 actually but on the bright side I suppose there are more firsts to come yet. My only criteria is I must have taken and saved a photograpgh that allows the bird to be recognised from the photograph.

Interesting page here showing some people as having over 800!!surprise
