Bird of the Week Challenge: 14th September - spring has sprung!

Happy Monday everyone. Gorgeous raptor images last week, I failed miserably at ID'ing one on a walk I led on Saturday - I think Brown Goshawk but I couldnt be sure...

At least where I am, the weather has been glorious for the last few days, spring has certainly arrived - so lets use that for the next challenge. Post a photo that sums up spring for you. It could be a nest, it could be a migrant you see appear at this time of year, it could be a bird just enjoying the warmer temperatures.

Bush Stone Curlew and Chick

Started bird watching because my 5 year old loves birds. I now enjoy bird watching very much

Great to see the Bush Stone Curlew Cat. Where was this pic taken? I would love to go on a photo hunt and capture one of these birds.

Spring means new life. I'm pretty sure this is an immature Nankeen night heron

Spring means Baby Superb Fairy-wrens in my garden. These three had just come out of their nest, it was their first flight.
