For me this weekend was about becoming proficient with my new lens and getting used to the new tripod.
I decided to focus, excuse the pun, on the White-plumed Honeyeaters out front. Mainly because they are very difficult to shoot and the trees are teeming with them. I had plenty of opportunities but lighting is tricky, so it's been an excellent learning experience.
