Little Friarbird in Adelaide?

For the past week I've seen what appears to be a Little Friarbird visit my palm trees in my backyard. I didn't know these birds were found in Adelaide. Is this unusal? He/she is here every morning  collecting palm fibres.

That is unusual as far as I know, I haven't heard of them being seen in Adelaide before. Does that mean its nesting?

Appears to be a very significant record- closest records are >100kms from the Adelaide CBD and even those are few being at the edge of it's range.

This would definately be worth a submission to Eremaea Birdlines: http://www.eremaea.com/

and if you feel so inclined, another database such as ebird or Birdata

Birds SA, too, would be interested in this sighting, especially because they're a summer migrant to s.e. Australia. Perhaps the mild autumn here attracted it.

I couldn't find a Birds SA website?
He was here again this morning but over the back fence this time.

I have listed it on ebird. Thanks :)

Kimbolina, the site has the email address of the Bird Records Secretary. He (I think it's a he) would be pleased to hear from you, I'm sure.

I received an email this morning from the Secretary, Brian and he was delighted to hear about the Little Friarbird. The only records they have in South Australia are from the River Murray between Morgan and the border.
Thanks Pacman, the little friarbird was once again in the area this morning but only briefly due to construction work, so he/she took off.
There is always tomorrow :)
