Great series of shots there laza - i think the third one is really special with the wings and the tail all spread and the eyes seem to be fixed on the viewer

Yes it's a pity there was cloud cover though least the sun was behind me

Lovely series of photos. Thank you for sharing them with us all.

Birds, so prehistoric and so aeronautically dynamic, if a human had never experienced a bird and had to imagine a flying animal, I doubt our greatest and most creative minds could come up with the reality that is birds.

Too much philosophical thinking for today! LOL... but the beauty and variety of birds never ceases to intrigue and amaze me.
