This was taken in Albury southern NSW and I'm not sure what species this is....a thrush of some sort?

That was my first thought..... the big eye seemed a little odd. I've not seen yellow around the eye of
other grey shrikes.

Young Grey Shrike-Thrush. My Morcombe app shows me that the Juveniles have a rufous brow and dark streaks on the underparts of the chest & throat, just like this one.
