I am hearing this bird call before all the others, but where I live innerwest Sydney the only birds directly around me are R. Lorrikeets and noisy miners and common mynors, and spotted Doves(occasionally R Wattles and Butcher Birds too).
This call is before all of these, and is all one note, four or so short whistles, a bit monotonous and it doesn't continue all day. Any ideas?

Might be an eastern yellow robin, or a white eared honeyeater.
Thank you for this, I have now realised that it is only a Noisy Miner, and i have been tricked by one of there different calls that i didn't recognise!
