Beautiful Bribie Birds

Took my boys fishing on Bribie the other day. Here are some of the beautiful birds I captured while I was there. They all caught fish but I didn't, guess my priorities where elseplace :)

As always Dev, a great set, I have to say that silhouette of the Curlew is my favourite.

Really have big soft spot for those type of shots

Beautiful photos Devster ... i like the blue eye of the mangrove HE. The oyster catchers are very photogenic, that bright red eye helps.

Btw ... i would be interested in what species count is now after the perth trip.

Thats a great total Devster. I thought you must be getting into the mid 300s with your trips.

Im still down in the 230s as i have not been birding in australia for a many months. I have done a bit in NZ and got up to around 70 Nz birds.

Had never seen an immature oystercatcher before. That last shot is really cool too

Thanks WD. Never been to NZ so well done for getting 70 birds there.

Let me know if you are ever up this neck of the woods and I can show you a few spots.
