Trying to identify a bird in SE QLD - Only have audio file

Hi all,

I have a bird that is driving me nuts, it hoots throughout the day AND the night. But I can't see the little blighter anywhere. All I have is an audio file on my Google Drive but I can't seem to upload it on here (only photos or videos?). I have gone through this list of bird calls on this website, but my guy isn't on there. The call is closest to a Powerful Owl but instead of "Whoop Whoop", mine is more of a "Whoop Whoop Whoop Whoop Whoop!"

Can anyone help with this please?

It's an Eastern Koel.

Ah, thank you!

I had listened to footage but they all sounded like this. And now the only one I can find upon searching for "Eastern Koel" is this one. I guess it must be the call of the female, not the male?

I'm not sure, but I think it's actually a male doing a faster variation of their regular 'koel' call.  I think the females do more of a harsh screaming keek call.
