Corella/White Cockatoo Cross?

Tean,

This bird visited our backyard (Kambah ACT) this afternoon to feed with some of our White Cockatoo and Galah friends.  Is it a corella/White Cockatoo cross?

Looks like it, and it is possible. Corellas are a typ of cockatoo. the small crest, ring around the eye and the touch of pink under the chin, suggest that it is.

All I can see are Galahs (pink and grey) and Sulphur Crested Cockatoos, perhaps a young bird?

Dale,  look at hte bird with the blue ring around it's eye and the shorter crest. Not a younger Cockatoo - we get lots of juveniles here

It’s the one closest to the centre.

Mathew’s sulphur-crested cockatoo (Cacatua galerita fitzroyi) has a more Northerly range, but possible.

"C. g. fitzroyi is similar to the nominate race but lacks the yellow on the ear tufts and has slightly blueish skin around the eye."

Or possibly an aviary escapee, (species Cacatua sulphurea) Yellow-crested_cockatoo.
