New Holland Honeyeaters

Haven't been here for some time, been having a lot of hospital visits and a lot more work on my spine.

These little guys have been very busy lately in our garden..they've built a nest in the Hibiscus bushes right outside my office window.

These were taken from about 20 meters away in next door's garden.

D500, Sigma 150-600mm, hand held.

Thanks Dale, my D 500 is a brilliant camera and coupled to the Big Sigma, it takes great pics. The backgrounds (bokeh) are all natural. The only PP was some cropping. The orange/red bokeh is actually brick walls on a house..

Thank you Woko, nice to be remembered..yes, I've been going through some tough times with the old spine. It'll never be good but I still manage to get up and start each day...pretty second hand by day's end though...just happy I can still take some pics...
