Rainbow Bee Eater - Merops ornatus

heres a pic of some Rainbow Bee Eaters - Merops ornatus photographed today just north of Ngarkat Conservation Park, S.A, they were sitting in a medium sized Sand Stringybark - Eucalyptus arenacea

Marvelous, Matt. It's great to learn Rainbow Bee Eaters are in your area. No sight or sound of them yet on the s.e. slopes of the Mt Lofty Ranges. They're leaving their run a bit late this year as I usually see them in late September or early October.
