Local Birding Pics

So last weekend there was a Facebook group heading to Mungarra Reserve at Petrie for a little birding. While there was not a lot of variety, there was certainly quality. Here are a few of my shots from the day. That Great Crested Gebe was simply not shy at all. He had a bad eye as you can see but it didn't stop him fishing. Also a treat for the Day were some quite obliging Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoos. The Channel Billed Cuckoos were everywhere but the were always at the top of the tree or deep in the tree.
