too cute by far!

Saw this leucistic willie Wagtail in Gilgandra, NSW and was blown away by how beautiful it was. The variation in pigment extends to the feet.

Wow Sue, that is Gorgeous. The only willy that doesn't look like he's cranky cause he doesn't have a noticable eyebrow

Thanks Dev. It was so beautiful... I would not have thought the white would change my perception but it really did make a huge difference. Its mate was nowhere near as pretty. I love the first shot when it is about to grab a fly and throwing a nice shadow as well as fanning out all those feathers.

Thank Dale, it was a bonus to have it visit while I was drinking a cuppa in the cold at Nyngan.

Huh, different and interesting - and I think Dev has picked it, it looks much more cheerful without the eyebrow being visible! lol.

Agree that the eyebrow does add a litle sternness as with the White-browed Scrubwren.

That IS a beauty. Nice find.

Thanks, richman, it was a beauty. I have seen a number of leucistic birds including Babblers and Plumed Whistling-ducks but this one was the most beautiful. So pleased that I had the camera with me.
