a couple from the UK

Just sneaking in 3 UK birds in from my recent trip to visit the folks. Was very impressed with wetlands walk with hides (which I've never used before but really liked as you feel quite close to the action without disturbing the birds and are able to observe behaviour as well as take photos) White swan at Hampton Court Palace Kingfisher. wetland walk near Stamford Chaffinch

Use what talents you possess; the woods would be very silent if no birds sang there except those that sang best

Sounds like a great setup the Poms have there, mate. I'll show your post to Sandra who is visiting London and UK in April / May, and maybe she can find time to do some birding if she's not too busy partying!

Tark, if Sandra is planning to party in London then for sure she will have plenty of time for birding as her money will run out very fast!!

What are you thinking.....even in NQ I have NEVER chilled a RED.......

Hev, great shots, great shot of the Mute Swam, I had one fly over me while boating on a river to the west of London (old timers stop me from telling you which river) close enought to touch as it flew over. A great, if a little scary memory.

Yes I know Ed, but I used to enjoy a Lambrussco, the Aussie one not Italian and it was alot better chilled.
These days the only thing I drink is Ice Breaks...lol.
