No. A sea almond. They're tough as little coconuts so only the blacks, with their big beaks, can crack them.

Interesting to watch them pick on a tree and climb around biting off the branches so the almonds fall. They then eat them off the ground, oblivious of traffic or people. Guess they wouldn't have too many predators. :^)

Lol, I thought it was some type of gum or something that you were eating, didn't really read the part where it says "it's" and not "i'm". Thanks for explaining.

lovely capture thommo, the tail is beautiful when silhouetted against the blue sky like that. Thanks for sharing.
