A few raptors and other birds.

A trip to Woodlands Historic Park did not produce the Robins that I was looking for but a pair of Kestrels more than made up for it.

Wow, I should say that they made up for it. Your photos are so lovely and sharp - the little wattlebird is a beauty - part of the reason I chose the new gear I have was seeing yours and ed's photos

Birdie, I was looking for either Flame or Scarlets, but I think I was looking in the wrong area of the park. There's always next time.....

Love the Kestrel shots george. Great flight shot and lucky to see it on a tree as well. Black Ranges east of Macedon Ranges are puite good for scarlet robins. I went there yesterday and saw heaps of them.
