Just had a look at your (avatar??) thats amazing. You know I am still kicking myself, its happened to me a couple 0f times now and so unexpected. a few weeks ago a wedgetail flew over my head i could have almost touched it, that close i saw the shine of its beak and the glint in its eye, another day one flew past me at eye level and arms lenght amazing experiences, , all i managed to get of the wedge tail was a photo of its rear end! so lesson number one from that was be more alert and quicker.

Amateur

Crikey tell me about it, I know it's not as spectacular as an eagle but this damned intermediate (or large or small...) egret has been flying over my head probably once a week and I have yet to have my camera at the ready, one day I am gonna be ready, and I'll get that bird on camera! Love the photo as well Al. About posting the photos just follow one of the links from this post and it has the tutorial http://www.birdsinbackyards.net/forum/messages.cfm?threadid=0D28872D-BD77-C218-7FB35680281A8A9B. Personally I found Gelmir's a tad confusing but maybe you'll give it a shot. Basically you have to upload the photos to a site (I just do it on my profile page on Hotmail) and then right click on the image and grab the URL Address and put it in between {img} {/img}, only with square brackets and not '}'. Look forward to seeing you in the forum.
