The Eastern Yellow Robin is such a tease. It will allow me to get a shot then fly off to another tree nearby and wait for me to get close again before going off to the next spot. I can walk all around our property following these birds - it's like they're waiting for me to catch up. I think we have a family living on our property.
These photos are very nice. Those yellow Robins are not scared of anything, this year I had so many, and countless young. You haven't seen any of my photos then? I took hundreds of the Babies at different stages, (all form very ,very close), they did let me almost touch them. It is as if they are waiting for me. I turn up at the gate, and they follow me down the drive. I talked to a Parks Ranger some weeks ago, and he said, the birds do know you and don't feel threatened by you after a while. That is so true, he said that is why ,when you go out to take photos in the bush, you don't see that many birds, because they are much more careful and hide somewhere. I think, that might be true.

That could well be it. Might also explain the white-faced heron at the park - it knows me as I'm often seeking it to get shots of it when I visit.
No, I haven't seen your photos and haven't fully explored the forum here. Unfotunately we can't click on member's names to see the posts they have made but I guess I could try searching on your username to find your posts. The forum here works quite differently to other forums I belong to so I'm still finding my way around.
