Spotted Pardalotes

I've just had a walk in my garden, I am very excited , I have a pair of spotted Pardalotes. I had never heard them sing before, that's how I saw them, I followed the most beautiful song. There they were, building a nest in an embankment. It wasn't easy to get good photos, there were lots of leaves in the way to get a clear shot. But I'm happy with the fact I have them. I hope they stay and have some young.

(sorry Darin, normaly I wouldn't post the same bird you just did, but I'm so excited about them)

Hi Elle, nice seeing you here again. I think you told me before, (getting old ) , but where do you live again?

I had a pair last year, but they decided to go somewhere else, even after they had finished their ungerground nest.

Araminta, your photography is just beautiful - do you have a website?

Thanks for the nice compliment Anne-Marie, no I don't have a website. I have to confess, I have about 26 000 photos on my computer, (I take about 100 per day, sometimes more), most of them not even sorted. I love taking them, I enjoy it if  people look at them, after that they are mostly forgotten.

No-one owns a thread.  If what you post is relevant to the thread, go ahead.

Thanks soakes, I'm not saying "I own the thread", the question is, what would you call "relevant"?  Does that mean you can simply lump all the bird photos of the same species in someone elses post of the same bird? I hope that's not what you are suggesting? ( Unless the relevance would be, answering a question or beeing asked to, that's fine).

I think everybody should be happy and proud of their photos to have a seperate post, so you can can enjoy everyone's responses as well.
