Bird of the Week: 14th January - green

Hi everyone. With much of the country struggling with fire, I thought this week's theme would focus on 'green'. This can be the bird, the landscape or the vegetation - use it in whatever way you like.

Another lovely photo, M-L.

As I said on another thread, it doesn't matter what species, all babies have that wonderful appeal, don't they? I love the ruffled baby feathers - so cute!

Perhaps it's the same paternal/maternal instinct in us that makes us want to feed animals, especially babies. It was wonderful recently to watch our 3 year old granddaughter bottle-feeding a lamb.
