We've had a pair wandering across the place the last week or so. (Around lunchtime)
The Lapwings took exception to this and I managed to get this halfway reasonable photo.
The bigger of my lenses messes around trying to focus, so the overhead which should be brilliant result in "It went thataway" like the wingtip photo, or simply acres of sky.
Methinks I need to get another identical camera and have the shorter zoom on it. Now that one doesn't mess around, just click and "gotcha"
Problem is most of my photos are taken when I'm supposed to be feeding horses, bad enough with one camera let alone two.
Oh well, guess I need a mobile double tripod to stick on top of the wheelbarrow. Hmmm
The tripod on the wheelbarrow? Not a bad idea, I'm not sure how it would go when you chuck the poo in it?
I do have a shorter lens on an older body, (the camera body, not mine ), but then I'd have to hang that around my neck (?), can't be bothered
My husband has a backpack, too much trouble. Then you have to get stuff out of the bag, change lenses..... by that time the bird will have gone.
What we need is a gorgeous guy to carry our gear. There are people like that, we know a couple . They went on a trip to a very hot country. He just followed her with a lot of gear hanging around his neck
I have lots of these M-L, here's one from the other day.
Betcha can't identify it
Haha, can't be a Whistling Kite, too many fingers, or is it?
M-L
I know what it is, it’s a UFO,an " Unidentified Feathered Object."
M-L
Nope,
It's one of these beauties.
