Brolga is grey, hope someone has a Saurus Crane pic.        Grey phase of Pacific Reef Heron or Eastern Reef Egret is ..... grey.              Striated Heron has a grey body and wings.            Australian Crake or Australian Spotted Crake has a grey breast.

"48 shades of brown" is a Nick Earls book, actually named for Neville W. Cayley's seminal "What bird is that?" birding guide, which apparently had 48 names for different shades of brown .
