The first one looks for all money like a female figbird but what's with the red beak and red eyes? (the beak doesn't exactly match the shape either) This one talks a lot too and sounds like it is trying copy other bird calls. Eating caterpillars here.
The second I don't have a clue it also seemed to be eating bugs unless it is after the lerps.
I think the first one is an Olive backed Oriole

Interesting, there seems to be lots of Olive Backed Orioles around, I saw half a dozen of them out in South Western Sydney the last week. I though they were meant to winter in northern Australia (or, thats what Pizzey and Knight say) and be uncommon (so, it would be unusual for there to be many staying in the south)?
Last week a lady here in Canberra sighted and photographed 2 Olive Backed Orioles at Callum Brae NR just near my place.
Climate Change? It has been a very warm Winter.

The ones I saw were eating Privet (I think) berries, so maybe as it has been a warm winter they didn't feel the need to migrate?
Certainly, Canberra would be a fair bit colder than Western Sydney though...
Problem with climate change as an explanation is that it tends to work over a longer period of time and produce trends... Having said that, last winter wasn't very cold either.
