my King Quail comment was another of my throw-away lines

and I thought that I was very fast with the 'didn't see page 2 and posted the wrong pic' recovery

I suggest that there is a penalty on the next person who posts a K is the 4th letter bird

No, nothing from me Reflex. Are you tempting me to come out and explain why? If I did, it would most likely be my last post on here.

I have made a few unintentional mistakes posting on the challenge, and was told ,

 If I  continue to ignore the rules of the challenge, then they (Holly) will look at further action.

So, I chose not to take part in the challenge anymore. The way my life is going at the moment I'm too scared to make another mistake.

I find it very sad, but what else can I do?

Drooling over Puffins and Kestrals and stunning Inland Thornbills, and the most amazing shot of that Indian Roller Mark, and Kiwis...and and and... all the others in between, and you now pull out an Indian Yellow-nosed Albatross Peter!  Bunch of smarty's is all I can say laugh.  I have nothing to help with the letter I, but really really enjoying the beautiful array of birds this week everyone, so thankyou!
