Bird of the Week Challenge: 22nd of September - bird-brained

Morning everyone, welcome to a new week!

This week's challenge is a relatively simple theme I think 'bird-brained'. Lets see your photos of birds who are being a little crazy/silly/foolish/scatterbrained!

Only guideline this week is for participants to wait 2 turns before posting again.

Now pay attention, this is how you do  the backstroke.

I figured enough time has passed for another go.

No comments required for this one I think.

Not many takers this week so thought I'd add another of the local rainbows.

Sky-writing, clever bird...not in a language I can read though wink.  I can think of a few people I hope that fell on...or at least their cars devil

Most birds get their silly on (and look a little goofy) after a refreshing bath - just like this New Holland Honeyeater.

The Ausralasian Grebes here in Canberra are a little crazy and can't read. It clearly states that they will usually dive if threatened but 99% of the time they run on the water for me.

Might have to re-consider the pro's and con's of a sun-roof on a car now after seeing that photograph.....?

It reminds me of a Pelican one day, when I was sat at a jetty in Sandgate, (although I didn't know at the time, I was directly under a street light) waiting to take a test to get my boat licence.....angry. I'm a lot more careful where I sit now ever since that day.

This Magpie was so preoccupied with what he was doing, he was completely unaware of me sneaking up on him and when I took his photograph he just about jumped out of his skin! Not a happy Magpie at all.
