It's Autumn Survey time!

A whizz and a whirl, a flutter and a swirl. Autumn is when so many of our birds are on the move. It’s time to find out which ones are visiting your space this March-April 2018.

Head over to Birdata and get your Birds in Backyards survey in today.

This year, we’re encouraging everyone to get involved with bird surveying no matter what your experience level. Just one quick 20 min survey every quarter – that’s only four times a year – can contribute so much information on how our feathered neighbours are faring through the seasons. Plus it’s fun, it’s simple and you don’t need to be an expert to take part.

Catch up on this post from the Summer Survey Challenge on why you should get involved, including tips on how to get started if you are new to surveying. And if you’re keen to survey more often, then you can still submit as many counts as you like all year round.

If you love planning ahead then be sure to mark the upcoming survey dates into your calendar. But don’t worry, we’ll be sure to send you reminders and results every quarter.
