7,000 kilometres non-stop!

I saw this on another forum and thought it was intersting...a Little Curlew with a transmitter has just arrived in Australia having completed its southward migration!

Wow and I complain about walking to the mailbox! LOL..

That is a long way, these long haul migrations have always amazed me. Birds have so many secrets. It is nice to be let in on just some of them.
