I'm not sure how many will be aware of this, but the recently deceased New Zealand comedy legend, John Clarke, of the ABC's 'Clarke and Dawe' fame was a fellow birder. He was very likely out birding the day he died, tramping through the Grampians with his trusted Canon.
To celebrate his genius, and help raise money for bird conservation, the ABC has decided to produce a 2018 Calendar featuring some of John's best shots. For those who may be interested it can be ordered on the link below. I've already ordered a couple for myself and my daughter.
