Albert River walk, Eagleby

Took a walk along the Albert River at Eagleby in what is a public park, that seems to hold a lot of birdy secrets. These were taken in just a couple of hours over two days.

Incredible set mate, love that second shot of the Wren channelling a Frilled neck lizard :)

Dont take life too seriously, it never ends well

Thanks mate. Think the Superb Blue has its breeding plumage on. Not seen the blue so distinctly different from the other plumage before to the extent it stands out. Best part is this park is 1.1 km from home! Cheers Muzz

Some birds I would love to see there. Nice to get such good variety so close to home

Looks a great spot for bird life  - lots of nice shots there. The Mangrove HE and Little ST would be new ones for me.

Lovely set and good variety of birds there alcatraz. Those Little shrike Thrushes are just about always in dark places.

You got that right Devster. Lot of work went into that image just to make it usable. Usually I only crop images. Cheers, Muzz

Wonderful variety there Murray and an added bonus them being on your doorstep. A couple of those would be new for me.

That is great that  a public park has such a variety of birds, and so close to you.
