I'm curious to know if anyone out there has spotted and totally white magpie? I'm wondering just how rare this bird is and if it is wide spread throughout Australia??

I saw one in my home town of Port Macquarie a few days ago and took a photo. At first, I thought it was a seagull and thought it was an odd place for a seagull to be (on the grass verge at the side of the road), then I realised it was behaving like a magpie. I've never seen one before.
This article claims it's actually something called leucism as opposed to albinism:

red eye = albino
dark eye = leucistic
