We are lucky to have such a nice little patch so close to home with a wide variety of birdlife as well as many kangaroos. Not 100% with the first but I think young Golden Whistler?

The usual Superb Wrens flitting around and a couple of Mistletoe Birds so made for a nice couple of hours birding. Have found it difficult to get a decent sighting (read photo smiley) of a MB so was very happy.

Looks like you live next to a great spot for bird photography. The third photograph, the one of the female Superb Wren looks so much like one AnnieJ has previously posted.You must have been at the same angle and distance...#11 here:

Really nice one's there RIck, done well. A showy female MB, flashing her lovely red undertail for you.

Thanks all, lovely little place right on the edge of the burbs.

Looks a bit overun with roos at the moment for such a small area.
