Hi freedomknight, it can be helpful to advise a locstion where the bird is sighted to rule out some species by their range. Yours is the classic example, would have ruled out the Eastern Spinebill in this case. Either way nice photo and thanks for sharing it with us.
I attempted to add this photo to my previous post on Honeyeater IDs where I listed the location but it wouldn't let me add this photo. I mistakenly assumed people would think it was a continued post to that thread. Sorry.
Maybe an eastern spinebill, female.

As this is in Perth, it probably could be a female Western Spinebill.

Agree with female Western Spinebill... white bar near eye and pale rufous nape are missing in Eastern Spinebills. Great work
