I recently took out my camera when I didn't think there was much chance of getting any shots. After insisting to my friends that such bright days were rubbish for bird photos, I then got these which I was pretty happy with.

I guess you can't get a 'lucky' shot without your camera.
Well done Roger, these are great! This is why I bought a smaller camera than my main one so it was easier to take it with me and hopefully so I'll not miss out on "lucky shots" - I hope I'm as lucky as you even if I'm not as good a photographer!
