NIce ones Marie-Louise, did you go out near seal rocks and the Penguin area?
Thanks Owen.

Amateur

Araminta I love the pelican photos, they are brilliant, especially the first shot! Also a nice capture of the Brown Falcon, looks like a wonderful trip. Did you get to see the fairy penguins? Thanks Owen for posting them :)

Thanks for your nice comments. We didn't go out to the Penguin area, too many tourists. We walked across some fields, where we saw lots of BOPs, and lots of Cape Barren Geese. Then we did the board walk,(with countless tourists),and saw hundreds of Silver Gulls, flirting and sitting on nests.(photos to come soon, thanks to my friend Owen)
Amateur, I had a wonderful time, and 300 photos to choose from.I'd love to share some more next week, as I don't want to bother Owen too often, I feel bad enough now! Cheers, M-L, (the "technophobe" as birdie likes to call me)

Hey Marie-Louise, just past the penguin parade stuff there is a dirt track on the left that goes up where all the holiday shacks used to be. You can drive along the cliff top or walk, lots of BOP and others. Not too many tourists either.

Thanks, next time. Next on our list "to do!", are the "Tahbilk Wetlands" again. Can't wait, next time you go that way, you'll HAVE to go there.(and get some of their Red!!!)
