And yes that was in the middle garden along the dive way and it is a small native grevillea about 1-1/2m high and we have a lot of colours. I was siting on my logg bench seat with my camera and cuppa this morning.
Ah smeeding, yes, I know the feeling, I have a bench seet also in my garden where on sunny mornings I take my coffee also, there's nothing like it is there!

He was feeding on all the low flowering shrubs and landed about 3m infront of me very lucky.
My seat gets the first sun in the yard.

Good photo. I get these birds in my garden occasionally but they are too quick to get a decent photo.

Magnificent bird, you will have to keep an eye out for it now you know where it hangs out.
