These are beautiful, bluebird. Would like to see them slighly bigger though, 500pxs x 500pxs works well. What are you shooting with?

Thanks Tark
I have a FujiFilm 9500S P+S. These are at max zoom so there is a little camera shake. I also have to shoot at max resolution (9Mb) and blow them up. I have had it for 3 years but am still learning to use it. The Queensland sun is very bright so I usually shoot in bracket exposure to get a slightly darker exposure if the metered one is washed out.

Now bluebird, you've given the game away by not cloning out the bee-eater's arial ... you obviously sat him up their with your remote control while you set up the shot!

Nice shots Bluebird,I could tell straight away as soon as I saw the Whistlers.
I was using a Fuji 6500sf up until 3 weeks ago, they are not to bad.

As a parrot fan especially love the Pale-headed Rosella picture. Would have loved to been that close when I was filming too!

Cheers

I've just been reviewing some of my responses and apologise for trivializing yours above. I did ask and you gave me a clear answer, for which I now belatedly thank you.
Shooting a bracket like you say is a good idea. I actually do the same, about a half stop either side of normal. I have heard very good things about that Fuji P&S series.
