Yes I did. When you turn the camera on, you press 'menu set', then arrow down to select 'conversion', then arrow right to select 'tele conversion' then 'menu set', 'menu set', then a message comes up on the screen 'please set the zoom to tele as far as possible'. If you don't have it on 420 the tele conversion icon is red and blinking on the LCD screen and the manual says the performance will not be up to specification - p97
Ditto for these. Can you recall whether you had it right up to 420mm for this shot ?
