I was alerted by squawking Noisy Miner's that there was a Raptor in the area, I grabbed my camera and spotted a raptor I hadn't seen before it wasn't till I looked at them on the computer that I realised it was a Pacific Baza

Must be the season for them to be moving about. I spotted two of them while on the 13th hole of our golf course on Sunday. First time I've seen one in quite a while . Same deal, much alarm piping and mobbing squawks from the Noisy Miners, Butcher Birds going off as well. All very exciting, excitement not initally shared by my playing partners, but even they got a bit excited seeing such a powerfull bird.
