We just came back from a weekend at Forster/Tuncurry. Our caravan park was loaded with birds, but I couldn't get any good photos because they were either flying or up the top of very tall melaleucas and other trees. Lots of scaly-breasted lorikeets, rainbow lorikeets, wattlebirds, magpie-larks, currawongs, magpies, yellow-tailed black cockatoos etc.
On the water I had a bit more luck, but saw more than I could photograph well.
