NP Raoul, I'm always glad to have my spelling corrected. I had only ever heard it spoken by the likes of Jackie Chan.

Hi Birdie:

Yep after some careful searching found a nest in the Stirling Mountain Range way south of Perth. They drove me up the wall though. I waited in a blind by the nest for hours and even with the youngsters crying for food the adults would not go to the cavity while I was there. So that the little ones wouldnt get too hungry I abandoned that idea. I was pretty disapointed then lucked out the next day.

Driving down a quiet road and there were 2 Red-caps feeding in a tree right by the road. I carefully eased the window down and started filming! I would have liked to have been closer but the footage is acceptable and I am delighted with it!

By the way this is the tough part... Being kind and encouraging when you see a photo like this and inside groaning that you didnt get that close yourself... (grin)

Cheers and thanks!
