Very nice. Try sizing the widest part of the image to 500 pixels. I have a feeling this is a young White-bellied Sea Eagle though, not a wedgie. Do you have more info on location and habitat? Young sea eagles are dark like this and I can see hints of white coming through the plumage as they lose their initial brown coloring over several years of change. Here is a shot of another young sea eagle I found on the web, see link please.
Nice one Meave. We had a lot of trouble with our early shots on photobucket but have since switched to flickr and it is much easier. Look forward to seeing more shots.
nice shot meave, i do agree with windhover it does appear to look more like a young WBSE. Especially after looking at the link... i could resize it for you if you like. cheers daz
Thanks for the offer mrtattoo, I would love you to resize it for me - don't know how to find the area which shows the pixels. Cathshane mentioned flickr - do you also feel it might be easier for someone inexperienced like me? Thank you for the suggestion cathshane, I appreciate all the help I can get. If it is a juvenile Sea Eagle that's fine, I have others of wedgetails and none of juvenile sea eagles, I'll change the title on my photo album. I did notice the white but thought it might just be the light.
hi meave, um its upto you if you use flickr, ive used both & photobucket suits me. In photobucket go to edit, then click on resize & you can move the height & width until they are both under 500. Then you should be right. heres your pic in all its glory.... its truley a lovely shot. cheers. anytime
That looks great, thanks a lot. Bob takes the pics, I just try to get the names right - missed out on this one. Is there any way I can delete the ones I mess up?
Nice in flight shot, I can never nail them , they always come out too fuzzy or too dark, well there's always a problem when I try it so well done to capture such a good in flight shot!
mrtattoo currently the forum mods are Birdie and Holly, though I wouldn't be surprised if Owen got it in the near future.
That would be great Holly, the 'half pictures'of the Brahiny and the wedgetail (which should be a juvenile Sea Eagle) do demonstrate my lack of experience. I would love you to delete them - and with Mrtattoo's advice which seems to be working for me I should do better.
hi holly any chance of you deleting my first photo of Yellow tailed black, my favourite bird....... please.....just realised its the wrong pic i wanted to show.. no probs if you dont have the time......thanks daz
Still not right - I'll keep trying
