I capture these White-bellied Sea-Eagles whilst on vacation at Jervis Bay, unfortunately although I witnessed the fish capture I was not in position to shoot it but I did manage to shoot the results.

Well done Mav, wish I had seen it myself.

woah!! that's brilliant.beautiful bird. Great shots. Thanks.
Use what talents you possess; the woods would be very silent if no birds sang there except those that sang best
An outstanding set of shots, Mav. A beautiful species for sure.

Thanks for the kind words everyone, the first shot was taken the day before I captured the fish sequence which is why the sky is a different colour. Unfortunately the weather closed in on the second day of shooting and the wind was fairly blowing a gale which made holding the camera still a real challenge.
Well done Mav, nice shots. It's nice at Jervis Bay isn't it.
Cheers
John
Well done Mav, birds of prey with fish in their tallons are hard to capture , well done again.
great captures...i'd love to witness a Sea Eagle snatching a fish from the water, well done

Thanks again for looking and commenting everyone, I really do appreciate the feedback eveyone has given. I just wished the forum was a little more user freindly. It must be due to restricted stoage or something but it does not explain why we cannot edit our own posts, very strange and annoying at the same time.
It would also be nice to be able to do a multi quote reply as doing individual replies is tedious as I am sure you are all aware.
Guzzi - Yes JB is a fantastic place and I cannot wait to go back there in October this year to do some more birding.
Goshawk - Absolutely, I just wished I had been better postioned to shoot the actual fish capture. May be in October I will have more luck.
mattyj - I cannot tell you how much of a thrill it was to watch the eagle snatch this out of the sea, it took two attempts and it was all done with a lot of precision and planning.
Superb set of shots of a beautiful bird Mav...well done.
I have to say you are not the only one that has commented on not being able to edit our posts, its a real pain.
