Wren parents

I watched a male and female wren disappearing into some very dense native grasses, where the nest was so well hidden, that I couldn't see it.
Here are some photos I took

have a look at the big fat fly

here comes the female

looking a bit worried

bringing a nice treat

Sorry about the missing tip of the girl's tail, I didn't crop it off, I was so close to her, that when she flicked it up, it ended up outside the frame.M-L

Beautiful and sharp shots of my favourite species, M-L. Too many Superb Fairy-wren shots are not enough. :-). Keep 'em comin'.

gorgeous sharp shots of a beautiful bird, the female is so pretty, and the male gets all the attention usually...but in your shots you can see just how beautiful SHE is too:)
Thanks,

Use what talents you possess; the woods would be very silent if no birds sang there except those that sang best

Like birdie, I'm happy to see you are back. (you don't live all that far away from me, I live in Gembrook. We should get together one day!?) M-L
