Bird of the Week Challenge: 4th April - dreary days

WOW!

I hope you all enjoyed last week's challenge. I can't believe how many photos were posted. I must go back and some how work out exactly how many species we had in total. There were 676 posts - so I think we would have had over 650. Just brilliant! Thank you all for participating - and for self-moderating so well. We will run it again for sure!

Back to our normal challenges this week. I had a fabulous weekend running workshops for the Powerful Owl project - so today and Tuesday are my weekend. Alas - its a very drizzly Monday here. So lets see bird photos on dreary, drizzly, cloudy days.

Just a hunch on my part but I don't think this challenge is going to make 650 posts by this Sunday. I could be wrong though?

I suspect you may very well be correct John :-).

I am struggling to find an image.

Me too. When its raining and overcast I usually dont even bother going out with the camera because it is so difficult to get a nice shot. Here is a Soggy Little Wattlebird taken from my balcony.

Great gull shot.

I had to put on a jumper as soon as I saw it.

All I could find in the rain. Young Turkeys all over the road in tasmania.

Thanks all for comments.

Previous Gull shot was taken at Piccanninie Ponds beach with a storm approaching from the South East.
