Heard some beautiful birdsong a few months back in the Hunter Valley, NSW, and managed to get some of it on video. It's amazing how these two (it's a duet) are so well choreographed as they hand the tune back and forth.
I wonder if anyone could tell me what this bird might be. I thought it might be a magpie lark but do they usually sound like that? Most info describes their call as a pee wee sort of sound.
I beleive that you have a Pied Butcherbird duet.
