Sorry mate I'm not much help with posting the photos, but there is a help section on the forum which has really good instructions on how to do it through Photobucket or Flickr - I use the photobucket one and it took a few tries but it's worth it to keep trying. Welcome to this forum, everyone is helpful and no-one minds if it takes a few tries to get it right. Good luck.

I think the parrot is an Elegant Parrot.

The orange-belly bird is a Spotted Pardalote.

The BOP could be a Collared Sparrowhark or Brown Goshawk - need to see of end of tail / get idea of size for me to know.. Someone else will probably know more... I suspect Collared Sparrowhawk if pushed - there's no obvious 'evil eyebrow' of a Brown G'hawk...

No idea what the pheasant type bird was.

Hope that helps,
cheers,
Scott.

Oh, I forgot the obvious statement:
You have some bloody cool birds in your backyard! :)
Scott.

Elegant parrot, spotted pardalote & possibly a juvenile collared sparrowhawk are 3 of my guesses. I couldn't hazard any sort of guess about the bird with the banding. It's long tail indicates it might, like a lot of us, be related to a turkey.

Hmm - not sure why they aren't working - the codes are right.

Wow thanks for the replys.
Some more googling and its definitely a Collared Sparrowhawk as ScottTas said.

I took that pheasant thing to the rescue place as it couldnt fly im surprised at how tame it was.

The Boobook says Thanks

It might be a good idea to clean that bird bath as it does not look very nice especially as if it is an aviary.

Thanks Holly.

The photo makes it look worse than it is, i put new water everyday. I dont have an aviary its just a bowl on a table in the backyard.

One question, would it be possible to post the photos here please? I had some weird" happening", while I was looking at the photos, suddenly an "Asian girl" advertising pornography popped up. Did anyone else have that "experience"? So, I won't click on those links again. Unless the photos are shown here, I won't look, sorry. M-L

Yes that happened to me too Araminta but I closed it and retried and it did not happen the second time.

Image Venue, unlike Photobucket or Flickr is an image hosting site which does not allow reposting anything other than links to other sites without a premium account and then only as thumbnails. So unless they are reposted to Photobucket or Flickr or somewhere similar you will not be able to see them here. Sorry.
