First for this year in Camden three Channel billed Cuckoos creating havoc with the local Noisy Miners and Currawongs. Fnally went elsewhere late morning.

Heard my first Channel Billed Cuckoo on the weekend.
There are a couple of CBC's around here (Upper Blue Mountains), I wonder if the same ones return each year?
No sign as yet of the Common Koel, heard one last year calling at night, so far this year nothing heard except for our local owl who calls out "Mopoke" nearly each night from a variety of trees near this house.
Lots of Channel Billed Cuckoo's and Eastern Koels around Sydney. I hear them every day. Still haven't seen any Dollarbirds.
timrp I still haven't seen a dollarbird yet this season either, hordes of Koels and a few CBCs here in Port Macquarie.
